How Does Pricing Work?

Everyone pays per the tickets unless the following exceptions apply:

  1. 7yr olds and down are free for lunch.
  2. It’s the school’s or homeschool’s 1st time to attend and they do not know what it will be like, we encourage the first time is free so they know what to expect.
  3. If an immediate family has more than 2 children participating, sibling #3, sibling #4, etc, is free.
  4. Local families that donate food, help setup/tear down, get free admission.
  5. Other Adults that fill a job board slot get free lunch.

Now that said, this is a ministry first, before it is a fund raiser, so everyone gets to eat and participate whether they pay or not.  We do not take the tickets at the door, and we do not take tickets for lunch or double check everyone’s paid.  Payment is on your honor and we truly hope everyone has a good time.  Any reimbursements that are needed just see the Coordinator, Stephen Madgwick.

Can Kindergartners come?

I am getting several people asking if their cute, little kindergartners can come compete, not just stay in the nursery.  The answer is that yes they can!  If you designate them as 1st graders, they can compete with the first graders.  I’m easy like that.  This pretty much goes for any grade.  If you have someone gifted you can put them higher.  If you have someone that struggles, you can put them lower.  I have had a 5th or 6th grader on break grab a grade sheet and compete with the 7th and 8th Graders on a subject for fun.  Why not, if he or she’s got the mental kilowatts??  I don’t have any problem with a 16 year old student with Downs competing with 4th graders.  True, I have my limits….. but, I hope you get the idea.  Sign up everyone that wants to put forth full faith effort in the level you choose, even the Kindergartners!

PS – yes, I am praying for some sitters so we can have a full nursery.
